The Roman Catholic Church is not a member of the WCC but this body participates in a Joint Working Group with the WCC.

The Scottish branch of this global mission organisation. "Interserve's purpose is to make Jesus Christ known through wholistic ministry, in partnership with the global church, amongst the neediest peoples of Asia and the Arab World."
"OM’s role in the Church is to mobilise people to share the knowledge of Jesus and His love with every generation in every nation. OM pioneers and leads initiatives to redeem lives, rebuild communities and restore hope in over 110 countries." There is a UK OM and OM India, which has an extensive programme to provide eduction for Dalit children, has its own website. 'The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is a leading international Christian organisation with over 130 years of experience. TLM is a worldwide partnership, active in over 50 countries, with a vision for a world without leprosy and a passion to eradicate the causes and consequences of leprosy.' There is a Leprosy Mission Scotland and The Leprosy Mission Trust, India, has its own website Previously 'Edinburgh Medical Missionary Society' with work in the Holy Land, EMMS International now also works in Malawi, India and Nepal. In India, the organisation is closely associated with Emmanuel Hospital Association
